HISTORIC ANGLE OF PROTECTION . . .
FLASH BACK ==================> Benjamin Franklin — (1750s)
The roots of modern lightning protection go back to Benjamin Franklin's lightning rod experiments in the 1750s. His pointed metal rod provided a preferential path for lightning current to reach earth.
At this stage, there was no standardized protection angle or protection radius. The concept was primarily based on placing a conductor above the structure and providing a conductive path to earth.
Early "Cone of Protection" concept Is one of the best and more effective way to determine tthe area of coverage.
As lightning protection engineering developed, engineers began representing the protected region around a vertical air terminal as a geometrical cone.
Till date this is the best way to detect the coverage range for protection of t=site due to lightning strike .
IN THE EARLIER 80'S THE BASIC CONCEPT WAS . . .
A vertical lightning rod protects an area below it within a specified angle measured from the rod to the protected surface.

LIGHTNING ARRESTER PROTECTION RANGE CALCULATOR ...
WE HAVE EMBADED OUR KNOWLEDGE IN THIS SIMPLE CALCULATOR TO MAKE SURE HOW WE CAN DETERMINE THE RANGE FOR CALCULATION OF LIGHTNING ARRESTER AREA COVERAGE . ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS ADD THE DIMENSION IN WIDTH AND LENGTH OF THE AREA TO BE CONSIDERED UNDER PROTECTION AND FINAL RESULT IS THE AREA TO BE COVERED , PLEASE NOTE FOR TECHNICAL ADVICE KINDLY CONTACT OUR TECHNICAL EXPERT AS LIGHTNING STRIKE CANNOT BE IGNORED AND SAFETY OF OUR CLIENTS AND THEIR ASSETS IS ARE TOP MOST PRORITY ...
